For many of you poor dialup users, the main page was loading incredibly slow. For some reason there was an extra 300K of blank text - just plain old spaces sitting in there. My append feature apparently has a bug. Anyway I have resolved the issue and the page is now a nice and clean 38K again and should load in a jiffy. Even if you are on dialup the whole page should load before it attempts to play the RandosounD(tm) clip so if you don't have boradband and the clip is chopy you can just hit the red X on your browser. 100 new RandosoundS(tm) are being loading in over the week. Remember if you would like to appear in the RandosounD(tm) clips on the main http://blackout.com entrance page, you can send me an mp3 of 10 seconds or less. Not a milisecond more. Done in mono at 56k or stereo 96k. If it is absoluely amazing fantastic work you may send a 128k stereo.
I hope this helps everyone and speeds up the site again. Sorry for those who found their computers slowing down to a hog.
There is still some issue with the quicktime videos clogging up after you have watched them fuly. I am working on that. If anyone knows how to fix this please post or contact me. After someone has watched a full quicktime video (which ahs amazingly better quality than windows media) it clogs up in some sort of disk cashe the next time one goes to watch a quicktime video on this site and I can't figure out why.
