I guess the family and I are actually going to go on the first vacation in over a decade... 3 day trip all in all, so if I don't come back by then, assume the worst... Death by sitting in the car with my family for hours at a time
Should be back Wednesday. I hope it doesn't suck. Hope you all have a good week.
Until then, peace out.

I have never seen anyone so bummed about a vacation. You remind me a little of Eeyore Herbert. ![[Laugh]](graemlins/laughface.gif)

Actually, I know exactly what that "long trip with the family" is like. Hang in there. Hope there's some fun to be had along the way!

Not to mention after that burger and cheese road diet I'm sure he'll end up on, he'll have enough noxious gas backed up in his colon to wipe out 3 city blocks, so certainly he can handle a van full of family members.

If the burgers don't do it, load up on Fritos, Slim Jims and Berriesand Cream Dr. Pepper. That oughta do it.

Well, I've made it back alive, and it wasn't as bad as I'd expected haha. We went to the Great Lakes Science Museum, and the Cleveland Zoo...
The trip started out rather crappy, because it was raining the whole time we were loading the car and probably half the way down there. Originally, we were going to go to the zoo, but we switched since the Museum was indoors. It was pretty neat, they had a lot of interesting science stuff that you'd come to expect in a Science Museum.
We then spent a bunch of time just trying to find someplace to eat, and ended up sitting in the car in a McDonalds parking lot for a half hour waiting for the torrential rain to subside. I had a Big Mac meal.
The Motel was nice. I got to go in a swimming pool that wasn't bad. I hadn't been in a pool in over 10 years, so it was quite a treat for me. I had fun there.
The night sucked... They didn't have enough pillows, so I sacrificed and let everyone else have them... I woke up stiff all over (well, not all over, thank God). Went to the Cleveland Zoo, and that was fun. A hell of a lot bigger than our little zoo we have here... Luckily it wasn't TOO hot, so a lot of the animals were actually out and about, rather than just laying there like they usually do.
We then talked to the desk about getting food, and they said there was a Pizza Hut down the road, so we go down about 3-4 miles and found it... Since they don't have Bigfoot pizza's (which is a massive 24 slice rectangular pizza that we have up here) we got a medium and a large with breadsticks... fuckin' $25. 8 slices for the medium and 12 for the large = 20 slices... a Bigfoot is usually $12 for 24 slices... damn it makes you appreciate living at home haha. ...Plus, I like Little Caesar's bread sticks more.
The next night wasn't as bad. I got a pillow, so slept more soundly, but the room was hot, which didn't help.
Then we packed up and went home... which we found about a dozen or more carpenter ants running around... Lil' bastards.

At least you made it home alive. I couldn't help but notice that you took more monkey pictures than anything. Care to comment on that?

They're most easy to take photos of. You can get human-looking expressions from them that make them look ...cute.
Polar bears get my next vote for most photogenic.
It's because they DO stuff, unlike geese and crap that just sit there, eat, and poop.
That, and I like monkeys ![[Pipe]](graemlins/pipesmiley.gif)
