I would love a new Blackout's Box Live. Are you busy? Is something getting in the way? Financial restrictions getting you down?
I dunno, whenever I visit the site and see the little banner that says "Blackout's Box LIVE! (Thursday Nights from 9pm to 2am E.S.T.)", I get a little depressed, because I know it won't come ![[Frown]](frown.gif)
Granted I've been busy and I work on Thursdays, but I will listen if you archive the shows.
Let us know what you need and let's see what we can do to help.

he gave up on it for many reasons, with one of them being that flapdaddy crap never worked right. would be nice if he started it again though. i wonder what hes up to lately?

Sounds like there is a bit going on at the moment... judging by the past he'll be back and even better... like Godzilla, combat only makes him stronger and unlike godzilla, funnier... I still have faith....

How about recording a show so I can actually listen?
The only way I was able to hear any Blackout's Box Live shows was the presence of archived audio on the site.

I think it would be awesome if Blackout could do something like Orson Wells did with the Mercury Theater. Following a script and do a comedy or something, sort of like the "Little Old Man Who Could Not Read" only with new scripts... I'll work on it.

Why not set up a paypal donate link? I think you can even set up a recurring monthly pledge, say $3.50-$10 a month. It could even be a side source of income. I see a few radio shows doing this now successfully.
I'm poor as all hell, but even I can afford like $5-10 a month pledge if it meant you were making shows again.
I hate to sound needy, but you are the best and the funniest, and I'd hate to see you sink into Internet obscurity.

I think I just got it. Blackout said on one of his shows that he goes through cyclical depression, and every time it's worse than the last. Perhaps that's why he hasn't done a show in a while?

Blackout can't leave! I was one of the first people to register on these boards and have been here (off and on) since I was 17 and have been visiting the site since I was 15! Damn it's crazy to think it's almost been 10 years since I found this site. Blows my mind.

PayPal sucks so bad now, they CHARGE me $2 to test my new card, and make me wait 2 fucking days just to get a confirmation code from my card statement. I just needed to make a quick purchase! FUCK, ONE SIMPLE FUCKING PURCHASE! I could have made the purchase in 30 seconds if it was available on Amazon! FUCK PayPal.
