I think blackout will love it! It was a very spiritual movie for me, If you see it, and still dont get the movie, Just let me know i'll explane it to you.

There is not much I can say about this movie expect

This is a fantastic movie, written and directed by Darren Aronofsky (Requiem for a Dream, Pi), but I agree that a lot of people will hate the movie because it's just not simple enough for them. It's a complicated story and frame story that is beautifully directed. It will open the door to conversation if you're with the right group of like-minded intelligencia, and I agree that Blackout will probably like it very much.

Hugh Jackman is still one of the nicest celebrities I've met, but Darren Aronofsky's father was also very friendly.

Wow, two recommendations from the higher ups.

I'll have to check it out.

PS: James, I'm on the phone Katherine Suzane Southard, she says happy New Years and she loves you, but she says stop hanging on to things to long. Whatever that means.

Happy Kwanzanukahmas to you and Axel... Happy New years and all that good stuff too.

Mustard champaign baby!

I was awe-struck at the trailers for this movie. If I haven't missed the theater showing...I'm there. Regardless...definitely a DVD buy.

I liked it very much. I can see how most would not understand it or be quite confused. It's mostly based on the ocuult traditions and the kaballah and tree of life - reincarnatioms as you climb the tree.

I am currently into Chaos Magic now.

I saw this movie in theaters with my girlfriend, and we were both confused. FireCat, will you go ahead and explain it for me. It's been a while since I saw it of course, so I can't be specific as to what confused me. How about a general overview on what it's about?

Count me as one of those that does not get the movie. I was lost pretty much from the beginning and finally stopped watching it. Yeah, an explanation would be nice.

The movie deals with parallel universes (and how they are connected), time loops (that time is not linear), and that death is not a problem to be fixed...rather it is part of the transition.

All three time periods are happening at the same time. They are 3 parallel universes, but only the man in space is aware of this. The other two world FEEL the connection, but do not have the complete understanding.

All that being said, as much as I enjoyed the concept of the movie, the visuals, the acting...

Something was missing. I felt no connection to the characters, even though the subject matter is one I really enjoy.

I would give it a 3 out of 5 IMO.
