I have no problem with skeptics, and I have no problem with agnostics, but I have a huge problem with skeptic agnostics. Why? Because they're positively sure that they are unsure about being unsure.

True, they've put a lot of thought in to reach that conclusion... and the only real arguement they have is mocking anyone with beliefs... They piss me off as much as the half serious christians....
Half committed christians are quick to judge you when you commit a sin in their eyes. But don't expect god to judge them for owning huge amounts of money etc when people in the same city are homeless and starving...
I was brought up christian and dabbled again in my late 20s, aside from the barbaric and ludicrous sacrifice story which i object to. I really came to the conclusion that if it were true the only real response was a life fully committed to Jesus and the church. Anything else would be purely a token gesture, i don't think it would please god too much if you turned up saying i payed $5 to the collection platter each Sunday when you are sitting on $1000s at home....

Cottonjaws,For me it depends on what you consider "church" If your church is the building you go (organized religion) than yes you should give all you have to that. But if you consider all people of the world your church where and how you give your money looks different. Anyone who judges anyone else for anything, believing, disbelieving, being unsure of what they believe are just afraid because they are not secure in their own faith. Why should it bother someone what others believe or not? Fear always brings sin (which I define as lack of love/faith) Fear seems to be the one thing that ever stalls me from loving with all that I have!
