Hey, got a question for those in the know.

I made a DVD of one of my shows, but unfortunatly I didn't seem to save the original file on my computer, so the only copy I have is the one on the actual DVD. Well now I want to make a new DVD but I need that footage.

I tried playing the DVD into my DV Camera and then playing that back into my computer, but the quality was shitty.

So I was wondering if anyone knew of another way to do this or a program that can do this. I don't know if there was anything done to the DVD when I first burned it that would prevent it from being ripped; I made the DVD with Ulead DVD Movie Factory 2.

Thanks for any help,
Flip

DVD shrink my friend. Do a search for google and dl it. It's free, amazing, and fast.

I have DVD shrink but all it did was take the file off the DVD and prepare it to be burned to another DVD.

I need something that can take the video and put it directly onto my hard drive as a avi/wmv/etc.

DVD shrink would be like playing a DVD over digital cable, look up something called CCE-9 pass or CCE-5 pass

I use DVDShrink to rip the DVD then encode the files to Nero Digital. (MP4/M4V)
