Author Topic: Frank Black (ex Pixies) - Boring Country Rock? Cottonjaws Blackout's Box Genius Member # 1253 Member Rated: posted                        I just heard the latest Frank Black album Honeycomb... I heard this album was good from reviewers etc but it pretty much sucks like his last 5 or so albums... His first 2 albums after the Pixies are great albums but now he sounds like a cross between Keith Urban and Van dyke parks.... or am i being too harsh... Maybe he'll never be great again... I think this is the last Frank Black album i'll get... but maybe the pixies reforming might knock a bit of sense in to him and a bit of production and a hook would'nt go astray... -------------------- I want to know a little bit about everything and a lot about nothing....
