I have been going through my stash of DAT tapes to find the master copies of all the classic pranks and bits that have only been on this site in the out dated Real Audio format.
Here is the first (Take Your Medicine):

This is one of the first in a slew of remastered Blackout's Box classic prank calls. Many of my old calls were only available in a very shoddy and old real audio format. I am going back to the original DAT master tapes, cleaning up and re-mastering many of the best bits.
"Take Your Medicine"
This is one of the best prank calls I have ever pulled off, right up there with the Quanicles, The Dog Beaters, and the Evil Kazoo Player. In "Take Your Medicine" you will meet the Cronnings as they deal with John Dandell (who is a pharmacist in this call) and his assistant Hector Rodriguez. Apparently they haven't been taking their medicine...or it Gladys who hasn't taken her medicine? Enjoy this 20 minute plus drama in all new clarity.

THIS call is the basis of ALOT of "inside jokes" with people I've known for YEARS!!!
"Hector, take that down." has become an all purpose phrase anytime someone says something assholish or retarded!!
