There are some words that I just hate the sound of, like nails on a chalkboard. It doesn't mean I don't like the object:

hoodie (I prefer "hooded sweatshirt")

slacks
(Sounds gross and old-ladyish, and well.. ish! I prefer "pants")

and finally, "penis" and "cunt" (I prefer anything but these two. Cock, pussy, even vagina. Anything is better than these 2 words)

Anyone else have words they wish people would stop saying?
