Is there any side effects of this tsunami of bliss thing? If you get whatever you set your intentions on does it ever get boring/do you become desensitized? Or will you have a hard crash like after a sugar high or other stimulating highs? [Stoned]

Sometimes you've got to specifically go out of your way to get into trouble. It's called fun. (Robin Williams).

No. Do not confuse 'bliss' or 'joy' with a dopamine release pleasure high.

Bliss or joy comes from within and is felt through the heart, not just the physical senses. I explained this a little bit in my analogy of a person who is addicted to sex but completely emotionally or spiritually disconnected from any of his / her sexual partners. This sort of person might get the physical pleasure out of sexual acts but there is no spiritual connection, or a very weak or low one, and hence no joy or bliss - only physical pleasure, which can and will dull or burn out. The person could actually be having physical pleasure while being in a very depressed and 'joyless' state. Do you understand?

On the contrary, a person engaged fully - mind body and spirit, in sex with a partner in a loving way will not 'burn out' or have a sugar high type crash. Joy and bliss are limitless and never ending, and the natural way to be and the natural state to always return to. Suffering is but a catalyst to understanding, suffering is not an expansive state to aspire to because suffering has limits which result in death and the entity leaving the physical body vessel.

The difference between the two above scenarios it not necessarily even commitment or monogamy, not that commitment or monogamy is good or bad - it is merely a choice. The true difference lies in the treating of the other being in the sex act with total respect and love, as an other 'self' rather than an object to be used or dominated for one's own pleasure.

You are not your job, your titles, your possessions, your degrees, your lovers, your relationships, your place of residence, your social security number, your ID, your bills, your worries, your bank account, your age or your body. You are the timeless being that created & perceives itself through those things, and you have the power to play or not play that game. When someone asks me "what do you do?" looking for some title to pin me down, I laugh and say "EVERYTHING!" - Blackout
