The most advanced of the three phone recording devices offered for sale on the Box is the TEL-220. When connected to a single line telephone and a standard tape recorder, the TEL-220 recording control will start the recorder when any telephone in the house is used (assuming all phones are on the same line) and produce a quality recording of both sides of the conversation. When the receiver is replaced, the recorder stops and awaits the next call. You can use this automatic recording feature or simply record manualy using any device that takes a 1/8 plug in (sound card, cassette deck, mini disc, DAT, etc...). This unit requires no tools for installation and is FCC approved. Caution: check the laws in your state regarding two-way telephone recording.
