Not all cars are created equal, and this particular
1989 Honda Civic is unlike any other Honda Civic ever made, at least after
the Rrrrrrooksnitchzien automobile refurbishing corporation got through
with it. This call was a request prank call made during the
Blackout’s Box LIVE
radio show. I have edited out most of the background conversation that
happened before the call, but basically a listener from Canada who’s nickname
was Gengas called me up and told me that his wife was extremely gullible
and that she had had problems with her 1989 Honda Civic. It had been
stolen and vandalized, but the police had finally got it back - but it had
dings ,bangs and a very bad key scratch on one of the doors, so it was currently
in the shop. This is where I came in. I called Gengas’s wife
- Marie, as a mechanic named Jordan LeQuan, and told her that I had fixed
her car, only I had done a little more than just fix it, I had installed some
extra features, and the cost of the repair was going to be just a wee bit
more than she had anticipated. As usual, this call starts out
in the land of normal, and progressively gets more and more ridiculous, but
Marie never catches on, and she is extremely upset at the extra modifications
that were done to her car because she can’t quite afford it.
